As Agnes longs to escape the convent, Judite and Alma plot a sinister plan. In a shocking twist, the sisters commit one of the most infamous crimes in history, horribly dismembering the Alencastro family and preparing them for a macabre feast.

Based on the true story of the Papin sisters, this tale explores the dark depths of family dysfunction, mental disorder, manifestation of class warfare and the inherent capacity for cruelty within human nature.
